Men, we invite you to an engaging lesson and discussion on what Stephen Arterburn and Fred Stoeker summarize as the challenge every man faces. This is a Men Only course where iron has a real opportunity to sharpen iron."Our Battle" is a 8-week course based on the book written by Stephen Arterburn and Fred Stoeker, "Every Man's Battle."
Through the eyes and experiences of the authors, we explore and identify with what for millions of men has become the enemy within. Participants in this course will engage in candid lesssons, exercises, and converstiaons, about a central theme, lustful temptations and sexual impurity in men of faith. No judgement, no criticism, all truth. The bible declares that there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but with the tempation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (1 Cor 10:13). "Men need a battle plan...a detailed plan for becoming a man of sexual integrity (p4); this course outlines practical steps to victory over our flesh.
Class Size: Maximum of 8 people
Duration: 8 weeks. Class will be held on Thursday's 7:30-8:30pm beginning January 26, 2023.
