Where It All Started...

      Before Fountain of Praise Church received its name, service began on April 29, 2015 at 8202 Club Meadow Dr. in Converse, Texas. This particular location was the home of Mr. & Mrs. Rufus Weatherly where they held weekly bible study for over a period of three months. In July of that year Pastor Hale’s oldest daughter Tiffany birthed the name “Fountain of Praise”.  With collaboration the slogan “Where the Well Never Runs Dry” referenced from John 4:14 stuck with all who heard it. With a name and slogan embodying their belief, Pastor Hale set out to find a place to start God’s church. A daunting task led Pastor Hale into trials and obstacles. Registering the building and other circumstances presented roadblocks in the vision. With faith, all things are possible. On August 23, 2015 the first service was held at Fountain of Praise Church at it's new location 503 Station Street Converse, TX.

 

It's All About Jesus!

       503 Station Street was previously held by Bishop Brothers, a long time Bishop in the Converse area. Bishop Brothers would allow Pastor Hale to hold Sunday morning services at the location, then Wednesday night bible study, and even teach Sunday school classes as well. Over months of prayer and growth, the Lord showed his favor and the church was officially owned by Pastor Hale. “The Fountain of Praise Church: Where the Well Never Runs Dry” is a church founded on faith and the belief that God can and he will Pastor Hale’s first message to F.O.P.C was “It’s All about Jesus!”
